    Below is a visualization and description of some of the most significant incidents of political violence in Nigeria from February 19 to February 25, 2022. This update also represents violence related to Boko Haram in Cameroon, Chad, and Niger. These incidents are included in the Nigeria Security Tracker.

    • February 19: Bandits killed five and abducted "others" (estimated at ten) in Koko/Besse, Kebbi.
    • February 19: Herdsmen killed three in Guma, Benue.
    • February 20: Gunmen killed two police officers during an attack on a police station in Isu, Imo.
    • February 20: Gunmen killed one National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) operative in Ohaukwu, Ebonyi.
    • February 20: Gunmen killed two in Ikenne, Ogun.
    • February 20: Airstrikes killed twenty-six in Marte, Borno.
    • February 20: Islamic State in West Africa (ISWA) militants killed one civilian during an attack on a military base in Ngala, Borno.
    • February 21: A cult clash resulted in ten deaths in Ilesa East, Osun.
    • February 21: A cult clash resulted in five deaths in Yenegoa, Bayelsa.
    • February 21: Bandits killed four National Security & Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) personnel and ten civilians in Shiroro, Niger State.
    • February 21: Gunmen killed two police officers and kidnapped two in Ihiala, Anambra.
    • February 22: Kidnappers abducted a medical doctor in Mkpat Enin, Akwa Ibom.
    • February 22: Bandits killed one and kidnapped five in Tsafe, Zamfara.
    • February 23: Electoral violence led to one death in Iwo Local Government Area (LGA) and one death in Ife North LGA in Osun.
    • February 23: Electoral violence led to the deaths of two police officers and six others in Enugu South, Enugu.
    • February 23: Kidnappers abducted six in Igabi, Kaduna.
    • February 23: Kidnappers abducted twenty-six in Ofu, Kogi.
    • February 23: Communal violence led to one death in Gwer East, Benue.
    • February 24: Robbers killed two police officers and five civilians in Esan North, Edo.
    • February 24: Herdsmen abducted a Plateau monarch in Mangu, Plateau.
    • February 24: Gunmen killed one and kidnapped two in Orumba North, Anambra.
    • February 24: Kidnappers abducted fifteen in Kajuru, Kaduna.
    • February 25: Bandits killed three and security operatives killed two of the bandits in Mashegu, Niger State.
    • February 25: Boko Haram killed three in Chibok, Borno.
