    Below is a visualization and description of some of the most significant incidents of political violence in Nigeria from June 4 to June 10, 2022. This update also represents violence related to Boko Haram in Cameroon, Chad, and Niger. These incidents are included in the Nigeria Security Tracker.

    • June 4: Bandits kidnapped fourteen in Kajuru, Kaduna.
    • June 4: Gunmen killed two and kidnapped “several” (estimated at ten) in Ekiti, Kwara.
    • June 4: A man was killed for blasphemy in Okehi, Kogi.
    • June 4: Herdsmen killed one in Jos South, Plateau.
    • June 4: Herdsmen kidnapped two in Umuahia North, Abia.
    • June 4: Bandits kidnapped eighty in Jibia, Katsina.
    • June 4: Bandits killed 1 and kidnapped fifty at a wedding in Isa, Sokoto.
    • June 5: A suspected Islamic State in West Africa (ISWA) attack killed forty at a church in Owo, Ondo.
    • June 5: Bandits kidnapped twenty-three in Bungudu, Zamfara.
    • June 5: Police officers killed three kidnappers in Ika North, Delta.
    • June 5: Bandits killed thirty-two in Kajuru, Kaduna.
    • June 6: Herdsmen killed two in Logo, Benue.
    • June 6: Boko Haram kidnapped “some” (estimated at 10) in Konduga, Borno.
    • June 6: ISWA killed twenty-three in Dikwa, Borno.
    • June 7: Bandits killed five in Tsafe, Zamfara.
    • June 7: Boko Haram killed four soldiers in Bama, Borno.
    • June 8: Gunmen killed eight in Ondo West, Ondo.
    • June 8: Communal violence led to seven deaths in Obubra, Cross River.
    • June 9: Nigerian troops killed “several” (estimated at ten) ISWA/Boko Haram militants in Askira/Uba, Borno.
    • June 9: Communal violence led to nine deaths in Bassa, Kogi.
    • June 10: Herdsmen killed one student in Jos South, Plateau.
    • June 10: Bandits kidnapped fourteen in Kajuru, Kaduna.
